It is barely a week since iPhone 3G came out and it has been cracked. To be precise iPhone 3G came out onJuly 11th and it has been hacked in Brazil. It was hacked exactly with the same method the original iPhone was hacked. The iPhone was hacked by using using one SIM adapter to simulate a fake IMSI test card. “This method forges the International Mobile Subscriber Identity, making the phone believe it’s working in the network in which it’s supposed to work.” [Techguru].
These Brazilians have ample time to exploit the iPhone. In my previous post, How long will iPhone 3G be locked? ,I made a poll about how long it will take hackers to unlocked the iPhone 3G. I knew it would be less than a month, but I didn’t expect it to be this quick. Bravos Brazilian
