Speed Launch is a handwork of 2 Microsoft employees. Their goal was to get things(program, website, document) run faster and with less frustration.
Speed launch works by dragging the thing, dropping it on the bull’s eye and giving it a name that appeals to you. To open it any time later hit “Windows Key + C” and the launch window will open. You just type the name and hit enter.

Hmm.. You can also start programs very quickly by pressing the Windows Logo on your keyboard, going to Run and type the name of the application which you want to start..
For example: Photoshop.exe, Firefox.exe etc..
